Chile implements Resolución 737 EXENTA, introducing new exemption categories and mandatory QR code requirements effective February 22, 2026.

In response to the increase in certification requests, Chile’s Subsecretariat of Telecommunications (SUBTEL) issued Resolution 737/2025 on May 13, 2025. The resolution was subsequently amended by Resolution 2219/2025 on November 17, 2025.

The amended framework entered into force on February 22, 2026, superseding Resolution No. 1,985 of 2017.
