NBTC: Public Consultation on Frequency Management

On April 7, 2026, Thailand’s National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) approved the draft announcement on the Master Plan for Frequency Management (2026–2028).

The draft announcement updates the previous plan, which had no specified timeframe, and is intended to align with the 2027 World Radiocommunication Conference (WRC-27). It also prepares for the new Radio Regulations expected to be promulgated in January 2028.

The updated draft plan reflects current national frequency management policy and Thailand’s frequency usage status for the 2026–2028 period.

The NBTC has scheduled a public consultation meeting for June 5, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM at Grand Hall 2, M Floor, Rama Gardens Hotel in Bangkok. Live streaming is scheduled to be available on the NBTC Facebook page. Stakeholders and the general public may register to attend by June 2, 2026.

Comments and suggestions on the draft announcement may be submitted from May 18 to July 6, 2026, by email to saraban_2007@nbtc.go.th. Submissions must clearly indicate "Comments on the (Draft) NBTC Announcement Regarding the Frequency Management Master Plan (2026–2028)" in the subject line.
