China changes ID Encoding Rules and Certificate Style
MIIT issues new ID Encoding Rules and Certificate Style for Radio Transmission Equipment (Effective 01 December, 2023).
The MIIT (Ministry of Industry and Information Technology) has issued on the 31 August, 2023 new regulations regarding the ID encoding rules for the State Radio Regulatory Commission (SRRC).
It is important to note that every applicant will be assigned an ID number. You can find a guideline for the new coding structure here: PDF (chinese only)

These new regulations will take effect 1 December, 2023
